Ugh.
Tired. Very little sleep all week. Drank too much wine tonight. Nothing to say. Watched "Watchmen" trailer like six times today. You can see it here. Or just go see "Dark Knight." Everyone else is. Huge opening weekend predicted. You know what? The first one struggled to make 205 million. This one will make more than half of that before Monday.
I love it!
Queen Bee saw it today and loved it.
I love this song. It's just a bunch of still pix put to music by a fan, so click "play" and just listen to it as you read. It's not worth watching. Great tune though.
Goodbye for now!

I am debating buying The Watchmen graphic novel on Amazon, based on the preview. Is it a good story? Alan Moore has yet to fail me with things I've read...mostly Swamp Thing.
Luke - "Watchman" is my very favorite comic book story of all time, so I would recommend it to you WITHOUT HESITATION! Especially if you already like his work on Swamp Thing. Feel free to buy it with impunity! You won't be sorry!
Based on your advice, I ordered the Watchmen from Amazon. I also ordered Batman: The Animated series Vol. 2 because I somehow skipped that one in my collection and went from Vol. 1 to 3. I'm debating whether or not to pick up vol. 4. Batman is taking over my life. I saw the Dark Knight twice already and am going again tomorrow. Three times in one weekend.
You truly are a student of the Dark Knight! 3 times this weekend?? THat's awesome! You are part of the crowd that shattered opening weekend records by shelling out $155.34 million to see this movie! It's currently the headline on CNN.com, although I must admit that it's kinda weird how they are claiming a weekend total before noon on Sunday. Not sure how they know what it's going to take in for the rest of the day today.
You might want to skip Vol. 4 of the animated series. I have it but haven't watched it yet (lame, i know!) but I've heard many folks claim that it was more kid-friendly than the other seasons with cheaper animation. Of course, it's always good to form your own opinions...and keep in mine, like I said, I haven't watched it yet myself, so I'm basically talking just to hear myself talk.
Hope to see you on Tuesday.
What is this fabled "Amazon" of which you speak?
Its this magical entity where you can click on things and somehow your wallet gets lighter. Then, in a few days, you get some weird box in the mail. Its almost a spiritual experience when you open it.
Also, I only ended up seeing The Dark Knight twice. I've failed as a Batman fan.
You haven't failed, son. You have made me proud...and I know you'll see it again. Plus, I'm happy you are embracing Watchmen.
Kudos to you!
Ah. And here I've been supplying all my comic book needs at my local shop. Who knew?
Ahh yes, I do indeed love the local shop and supporting it as well. However when I went to purchase the trade paperback "Watchmen" it was not in stock. I was crushed and dismayed. It was as if the heavens had opened up for me only to pour down a bucket of humiliation and defeat.
And honestly I don't know if I could go through that again.
